Soteris Phoraris

Soteris Phoraris was born in Chicago, Illinois. His childhood was spent between the cities of Chicago and West Lafayette, Indiana. After living as a young adult in Cyprus he returned to West Lafayette to study Fine Arts at Purdue University and was awarded a Bachelors of Arts Degree at the end of 2009.

His latest work deals with the intersectionality of images imprinted during childhood, chaos theory and the active competition between the constructed image and visual culture's oversaturation of the manufactured/artificial image.
