Born in Cut Knife, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1945;Raised in North Battleford, Sakatchewan. In 1963, attended McGill University ( Master of Arts ) in Montreal, Quebec where Stromberg still resides as well as Lake George, New York, USA.Stromberg's art is both figurative and abstact. It is a fusion of the two based on her astute observations of Humanity and Nature. She is an energetic, imaginative, focused individual. Her sculptures have an emotional context that emerges from deep within her psyche from whence comes her ultimate inspiration. Early in her sculpture career, Strombergs' sculptures were purchased outright by Dr. Stern, owner of Canada's premier gallery: Dominion Gallery. Her bronzes were purchased by the Canadian Government to be presented to Heads of State in foreign countries visited by the Prime Minister of Canada and the President of the Canadian Senate. The Canadian Government presented Stromberg sculptures to then Presidents, Clinton and Yeltsin at the Vancouver World Summit. The size of her sculptures vary from small to monumental. Having completed three degrees, one a Bachelor of Arts "with distinction",then a Master of Arts, of which her thesis was published as the only Biographical introduction to the poetry of Canadian Poet, Louis Dudek. PEN International invited her to become a member. Stromberg then went to The Bronfman School of Fine Arts where she studied sculpture which became her chief focus. She has had various solo exhibitions in Montreal and Toronto and participated as well in numerous group exhibitions. Since 2015, Photography has been added to her artistic expression.
