Jan C. Tervoort

Jan Tervoort was born in Castricum a small village near the coast of Holland. In 1985 he founded a creative agency in Amsterdam. Later on he designed the clothings. On the iland of Bali Indonesië he starts his first atelier in 1995. In 2005 he returns to the Netherlands. Is 2014/15 he was a participant in The Amsterdam Light Festival. He works in his hugh atelier in the historical city of Monnickendam, 5 miles from Amsterdam.

His teacher was Lois Kapr from Tjechie, wellknown for his Breitner looking cityportraits. Jan honored him with a floating lightobject during The Amsterdam Light Festival.

For 2019 he did Brussels and Copenhagen. In september New York (AAF) in october ACAF (Brussels) in november Amsterdam (own stand at AAF) and Stockholm and Hamburg.
