Umbra Project

Umbra is the artist name and the name for the project, the real name is Gonçalo Ferreira born in Coimbra, 1979.
From very early I start to work for art, that has been taking shape, developing projects with different characteristics, the diversity of materials complements and great value reaches of expression ... the use and abuse of recycling avoids the use of supports predefined, any surface used to record what you want to express, everything used to register.
The allure of a surrealist universe, connected to an unrealistic representation that emphasizes the unconscious, the fantastic, with related traits sometimes with terrible at the same time we transmits a friendly character forms filled by close to reality transformed into a harmonious combination of colors and textures that comprise mostly the work presented.
