Viktor M Georgiev

Viktor is an artist with over 15 years of experience in light and set design, performing arts, painting and 3D CAD modeling. He has a broad portfolio and a proven track record of art concepts for stage design and music events.

Viktor believes that his artwork should be in constant communication with the spectator and evoke intense multilateral emotions. He likes experimenting with light, space and textures which have resulted in developing some very unique 3-D painting techniques.

Viktor has presented for the first time his distinctive double canvas paintings at a solo exhibition in Sofia entitled “Re-Recording”. Composed of two surfaces, these unique artworks allow the light to penetrate through a perforated first layer, resulting in a light composition that projects novel and unique sensations into the observer.

Viktor’s artwork is influenced by retro musical and sound objects. He seeks to recreate visual and plastic expression of vintage music instruments and sound equipment that look, feel, resonate and awaken forgotten emotions and sensations.
