Cathy Douzil

I was born in Paris in 1974. After living in London for four years, I moved to Lisbon in 1999, where I combine my own artistic production and exhibitions with teaching art and illustration works.
Between 2013 and 2016 I ran Espaço 62 where I was coordinating artistic workshops for both children and adults.

I have an MA in visual arts from the University of Paris VIII and Thames Valley University in London.
I studied Art History at l'École du Louvre in Paris, and life drawing with Master Rémi Aron.
I learnt to draw for archaeology, and worked in the portuguese Animation industry for 10 years.
