Sarah Pye

Henley-on-Thames based Sarah Pye exhibits in galleries across England and has collectors both at home and overseas. Painting large statement pieces freely and intuitively, nature’s colour, light and life, are always foremost in her mind. Her unique style of dropped, dribbled and splashed acrylics, create exciting and vibrant pieces with impressionist expression. Taking inspiration for her droplet paintings from the likes of Monet, Henri Edmond Cross and Seurat, Sarah depicts images that are near pointillist in appearance but with a contemporary twist. Dappled woodland lights, atmospheric coastal scenes or an explosion of wild flowers, Sarah’s nature inspired paintings keep you looking and discovering more with every viewing. Her work is beyond literal representation and she hopes to draw on your memories and remind you of beautiful days.
