Alan Jackson

Hi, I hope that you like my paintings. It is only recently that I have picked up my brushes again..At school, I had works exhibited from a very early age. I was, however, in the view of the teachers, doing too many subjects and I was told to drop art. I am fascinated by COLOUR. All my works are big, bold and bright.I want anyone walking into a room displaying one of my works to be stopped in their tracks. I hope you love them.
My painting all feature sunsets, very bright colours and contrasting matt black foregrounds. They are totally unique in that all feature sunsets, bright colours and black contrasting foregrounds.

I grew up in the North of England and was lucky enough to win a scholarship to a very good school. This allowed me to take up a degree place in London. The first of my family to take a degree. All my costs were paid by the local Council as my father had died when I was young and I again qualified for a scholarship. I took up painting again in November 2018 and I have not stopped since. i love producing works of art and I hope that you enjoy seeing them.

I have been offered two exhibitions but, as yet, I have not taken up either offer. A very high percentage of people who see my paintings, want to buy them and I am grateful to the Saatchi Gallery for the opportunity to exhibit with them.
