John Haynes

I am an Oxfordshire based landscape and seascape artist, my paintings inspired by scenes of beauty and interest, relishing each new challenge to capture the mood, atmosphere and realism in minute detail with accuracy and precision.

I have just completed a series of paintings from the Greek island of Skiathos, a favourite holiday destination, using acrylic and oil paints bringing to life the warmth, colour and vibrancy of the Mediterranean and is discussing with the Mayor an exhibition of his work on the island this summer.
Im currently working my way around the British Coastline Starting in Kent finding the most striking and stunning areas to paint.


Currently and much closer to home focussing on local Oxfordshire paintings from the beautiful St Mary’s Church Witney to the stunning grounds of Blenheim Palace.
