Jose A Pindian

Jose's works are driven by the observation of the human condition, and the social issues occurring around him. His aim is to raise questions to engage with the audience. Currently, he is picking up stories from newspapers relevant to his social concerns. He combines selected clippings and words with appropriate ordinary objects to create a disquieting mood on a two-dimensional surface.
Through the process of blending different objects, he conceals certain parts of the work while revealing others to the viewers. The activity of concealing and revealing is an attempt to make a form or space which has an immediate impact, and which addresses disregarded and affected people. Thus the work arouses an enigmatic atmosphere which reflects disgust at the actions of a human being.
