I was born in Toruń, the city of Nicolaus Copernicus. Here I started learning to play the flute. Gothic Toruń with narrow streets and the atmosphere of old times influenced my artistic sensitivity. I studied flute in Poznań and Łódź. Immediately after graduation, I started working in the Poznań Philharmonic, where I play to this day. During foreign tours, between concerts, I visited painting galleries and museums. Hearing the music, I saw the color tones in my imagination. In 2003, I founded a jazz quartet. The first disc includes reproductions of my painting series entitled "Squares". For five years, painting has been more important to me than music. At first, I was most fascinated by Impressionists and Expressionists. In my paintings, they want to show the mood with color and texture. I often illustrate my painting with music. One hundred and thirty paintings are in the private collections of Poland, Germany and France.
