Mirjana Erceg

I was born in Split, Croatia in 1993, but I grew up in Sinj, a small town in the Dalmatian hinterland.
Art was my first love, so even as a child I wanted to go to art school, which I eventually finished in Split, Croatia. During high school, I met with restoration, and after high school I decided to enroll in the faculty for conservation and restoration of art.
During my studies, I mostly conserved and restored works, and one of the most prominent places where I worked are the Dubrovnik Cathedral in Dubrovnik – fragments of wall paintings and the Rikard Benčić Factory in Rijeka.

My previous works are mostly based on portraits, figures and nudes, but since 2023 I have been intensively engaged in landscape painting.

As of 2023, I live in Wilhelmshaven, Germany.

I received master's degree in 2022 at the Department of Art Conservation and Restoration of the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, Croatia.

I graduated from high school – ''School of Fine Arts Split'', majoring in painting, in 2012 and earned the title of painting designer.
