Yvonne is self-taught and a multidisciplinary artist. She started her career with ceramics, tapestries, jewelry, silk and porcelain painting and wood working.

In 2007 Yvonne started with a completely new, self-invented and developed art form: Eyeglass art. An unique, one of a kind technique in the world. She created spatial art in which she processed hundreds to thousands of spectacle lenses. These special art objects got a lot of publicity in the media.

Nowadays Yvonne Casander enjoys painting with oil, acrylic and watercolor. All her life Yvonne experiments with new techniques and materials.

She received various assignments from the municipality and worked with spatial, conceptual art. Yvonne also teaches different art classes to children and adults

For more than 40 years she participated on art fairs and art markets.
Her art was represented nationally and internationally in many individual and group exhibitions.
Yvonne Casander was president of an artist group. Won several awards as an artist and got a lot of publicity in the media. Casander received commissions from the municipality and was co-organizer of a major “worldWood” festival with many woodartists from Europe.
