Sabrina Hamel

Born in 1981, I (Sabi) am a self-taught artist from Quebec, Canada, specializing in mixed media art. My work is deeply influenced by personal experiences, emotions, and the beauty found in imperfection. Through my art, I aim to convey stories and feelings that resonate on a profound level. Over the years, I explored drawing, acrylics, mixed media, and even floral design, refining my voice and technique. In 2018, painting became my sanctuary allowing me to play with textures and layers, bringing depth and movement that evoke realism with depth and simplicity. Finding my true voice through the Mastery Program at the Milan Art Institute, I’m now creating art that reflects who I am.

My work has been featured in the Arts to Hearts 101 ArtBook Portrait Edition 2024 and I’ve also been selected to have a two-page feature in the: Women Artists on the Rise Book Fall Edition 2024, showcasing my artistic journey and works. These experiences have been instrumental in my growth as an artist, motivating me to continue exploring and pushing the boundaries of my creativity.
