Nancy Hines

Raised a Marine Brat, I grew up being familiar with both the east and west coasts as well as the Gulf. I am a working artist, teacher, and professor in the Houston area now filling my life with paintings and people. I love all the fine arts and dabble, listen, and watch any time I'm not completely immersed in my chief pursuit or running around with friends.

I love education and have returned several times for various reasons since attaining my first degree of Bachelor of Arts in Music at the University of Texas in Austin. I also hold a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Visual Arts from Azusa Pacific University in California, have completed the Atelier courses at Angel Academy of Art in Florence, Italy, received my Teacher Certification from Sam Houston State University in Texas, and my Unexploded Ordnance Certification from the Texas Engineering Extension Service at Texas A&M. I will likely return to do some other study that interests me one of these days.
