I have been creating art for over five decades, a journey that began in my childhood. I was always drawn to the tactile experience of painting, and even before acrylics became widely available, I began working with oil on canvas. The slow-drying nature of oil paint appealed to me, as it allows for reworking and fine-tuning, giving my art a sense of depth and refinement. I enjoy the physicality of spreading oil on canvas, which allows me to engage with my work on a personal level. While my main career is in film and animation, I find that many of the ideas I generate are better suited to painting than to film. , I find that many of the ideas I generate are better suited to painting than to film. This realization helped solidify my choice of medium, and oil paint remains my primary choice for its longevity and versatility.

I have had the privilege of painting in various cities and towns across India, and I am currently based in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu, India. Throughout my career, I have participated in numerous exhibitions, both solo and group, across several Indian cities. These opportunities have allowed me to share my work with a wider audience and refine my artistic vision.
