Sol Vil

My name is Solmaz Vilkachi, I am an Iranian artist living and working in Italy since 2009. I have participated in various solo and group exhibitions and have created monumental sculptures that are permanently installed in several cities across Italy, France, and Denmark.My artistic research explores identity, human behavior, and lifestyle in contemporary society, reflecting on emotions, memory, and social dynamics. These concepts are expressed through the human body, the primary medium through which we perceive and experience the world. Through form and movement, my work investigates our connection to culture, relationships, and personal transformation, revealing the deep emotional and psychological layers that shape human existence. By focusing on the body as a vessel of perception, I aim to create a dialogue between the physical and the intangible, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences, emotions, and place within contemporary society.
