Beatriz Huthmacher

Beatriz is a Brazilian-British contemporary artist.
With a lifelong passion for art, her work is influenced by experiences living in five countries, including Brazil, USA, New Zealand and England. Now based in the Algarve, Portugal, she has launched her abstract and semi-figurative art collections. Her art reflects her faith, cultural influences, and transforms each piece into a celebration of hope and redemption. Every painting carries a powerful message, connected to a song of praise, and holds a purpose that comes from heaven.
Influenced by artists like Richter, Mitchell, Kandinsky, Monet, Van Gogh, and Mondrian, as well as by contemporary cinema, Beatriz embraces abstract and semi-figurative art. Her work merges painterly techniques with a deep emotional and spiritual connection. She explores mixed media and texture, using acrylics, modeling paste, and unconventional materials to create depth and movement. Her dynamic compositions, built with palette knives, sponges, and brushes, bring a sense of spontaneity and fluidity, inviting viewers to connect deeply with the art. Her paintings blend art and her faith in Jesus Christ in a profound way.
