Anastasia Georgia Wildig

I am a classically trained artist with a background in editorial illustration and teaching. I was awarded my doctorate in the philosophy of fine art for developing a method of contemporary oil painting merging the foundational elements of the historical sight-size tradition that I studied in Florence, and a contemporary photorealist technique in which I engaged as a painter for Damien Hirst.

My research follows a dualistic trajectory focused on combining effective processes to achieve sincerity in the rendering of human skin in parallel to exploring the conceptual boundaries attributed to the sensitivities that are inherently involved in erotic representation. I am establishing a unique niche depicting explicit subject matter which is beginning to attract a growing and diverse audience.

I operate as a sole trader selling my paintings, drawings, and master copies of prominent artworks to collectors worldwide.
