Pavol BlažEk

Slovak visual artist. He was born in Brezová pod Bradlom in 1957 where he lives and works.The present appearance of Blažek´s paitings with prestige of colouristic structures has its own prosaic background from the earliest positions through civilist landscape, and record of a figure. The fragile thought territorry of reflections, visions and meditations, personified empire of the good and the evil. The magic of historic legends, myths and facts, also bipolarity of relation betwen a man and a woman, conflict of power and moral are the expresion of everlasting endeavour to aktualize and unify the problem of image and possibility, ideal and reality. Blažek´s works affect our senses with spontaneous expression, color composition and relaxed lines. The pictorial dream on the plainest matters of a man. The virtual composition on the human happiness.
