Born 1937 in Stoke on Trent. Virtually no formal education. Scholarship to RADA. Nearly forty years in the theatre and television, both as an actress and writer finally led me to painting.
I paint large pictures in oils based on landscapes and cityscapes. Its a long process, during which I manipulate the pigment until the painting becomes itself.

1957-1959: Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
1959-1998: Worked in the Theatre and Television as a scriptwriter, playwright and actress.
1998-2008: Painting full time. I have exhibited at The Beatrice Royal Gallery in Eastleigh Hampshire, Llewellyn Alexander, London, Southampton Civic Gallery, and had a one woman show in France.
