Freeman White

Born 1979 in Hawkes Bay New Zealand Freeman currently lives in Wellington NZ He is a full time artist who is both nationally and internationally recognised for his skill as an oil painterFreeman began painting and drawing at a very early age and throughout his schooling consistently won prizes in art and speech making in 2006 he was awarded first prize in the prestigious ADAM portrait awards , following this success he was invited by James Holloway Director of the Scottish national portrait gallery to paint portraits in Edinburgh Scotland ,Freeman has also completed artist residencies in Germany and the USA and has work in collections in New Zealand ,Finland Germany,Scotland ,The united Arab Emirates ,America and England.He is represented by Black Barn Gallery Hawkes Bay
