Growing up in Punta Gorda, Florida where everything was on the water, water skiing, swimming, fishing and most of the streets are still made of brick, my childhood was a very happy one with no shortage of friends in our neighborhood..
My expressive subjects are primarily figures and abstracts as well as interiors, landscapes and still lifes. I love combining vibrant colors with a rhythmical movement in my compositions

. I took private portraiture lessons after school in middle school years and studied the human form in Nice, France at Universite Montebello. Later I received an MFA in Painting and a BFA in Painting and Printmaking, both from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I also have a BA Degree in Education and am an Art Professor.

Currently I am displaying in the Artisans Atelier in Punta Gorda, Florida,

I have exhibited and sold in galleries in Sarasota, Vero Beach, and Orlando, FL as well as through Virginia's Art and Framery in Knoxville, Tennessee.

I have displayed and sold at Revolution Mills Studios on Revolution Mills Road in Greensboro, NC.
