Adriano Caudullo

I am a self-taught artist. I began painting when I was 5 years old while living between Sydney and Rome. My early art was guided by a curiosity about everyday life scenes and the natural beauty that surrounded me. My artistic creativity led to art shows beginning during my elementary school years. This eventually led to independent exhibitions and shows at contemporary art gallery displays in Italy.
My drawings and painting synthesize what I see in the environment around me. I want my art to be essential, assuming a child’s simpler point-of-view to create a style that communicates purity. I desire to create art that can be instinctively understood, where a viewer becomes immediately familiar with the object or person.

Throughout my education, I have explicitly avoided a traditional art instruction because I don’t want to be biased by art schools or conform to standard painting methods. Instead, I studied in Gymnasium (classical field), where i graduate, while continuing to independently paint and support myself. My artistic goal is to be innovative and continually improve, guided by my philosophy that “my grand masterpiece is yet to be created.”
