Alane Levinsohn

ARTIST BIO
I attended the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, now known as California College of the Arts.
Just before graduation I had the opportunity to live in Brussels, Paris, and Frankfurt and spent three years traveling through Europe. I took classes at the school of fine arts in Brussels, and while in Paris, the Louvre became my favorite destination. Upon returning to the States, I worked as a fashion illustrator for department stores.
I have exhibited locally and nationally in many juried shows Including the Oil Painters of America Salon Show in 2016. My work has been shown at Saga Gallery in Montrose, Debra Huse Gallery in Laguna Beach, and Randy Higbee Gallery in Costa Mesa, Gallery 62 in Joshua Tree among others. I participated in the 2016 Open Studio Art Tours and plans on so again in 2017.
