Alex Petrov

Alex Petrov (b.1988) is a young photographer working and living in London.

Since he was 8 he has been passionate about photography. Alex started developing his skills with film and Zenit cameras, discovered the romance of a darkroom and started printing his works straight away. It became an art form for him as Alex was experimenting with different chemicals, multi-exposures and film development techniques. Since then he switched to digital photography but retained a lot of techniques and style from the film days.

Alex was born in Belarus, lived in Moscow and then moved to London where he started developing his current style. Alex is still actively working now, printing all his works himself and collaborating with different designers and artists.

His work was featured by Leica Fotografie International in the Master Shot category.
