Alice Straker

Alice Straker is a British artist who creates vibrant and thickly textured oil paintings, primarily of food and drink. Her work has a delicious three dimensionality about it - you almost want to eat it off the wall! Her colour palette is grounded in colour theory, used to create depth and enhance her subject. Alice draws inspiration from her family’s love of cooking - her twin brother, Thomas Straker, is a chef, and her degree in Art History. Alice is currently exploring nostalgia in food and working to elevate the everyday. Her signature ‘art dish’ is a chocolate eclair! Alice‘s work is striking and original and she has paintings hung in houses globally.
