Seth Alifo

Seth Alifo’s art is noted for its vibrant combination of colors. In classic impressionist style, he avoids rigid lines and merged objects giving a sense of dream-like consciousness. Alifo as an artist paints what the mind can seize, from portraits of women – often in nude. They focus not on the sexual aspect but often of everyday experiences. Like other Impressionists, his paintings are rich in saturated color, fiving a life-like intimacy. He is constantly evolving and is influential in moving beyond impressionism and opening up new directions in art.
Born in the Volta Region, by one of the Guan’s tribes, Ghana (West Africa); the artistic ability of Seth started at an early age. During his teens, everything he puts up was pleasant and appreciated by all around him and since that moment art became the driving force of his life.
