ALI KEYES-SCHOOLEY ARTIST BIO

Ali Keyes- Schooley is a photographer and creates abstracts with acrylic paints. She owns a gallery and custom frame shop with her husband, in Tubac, AZ. She descends from a long line of Artist allowing her to experience the gallery environment beginning at a young age. Similarly, she is also an interior designer and decorator. Ali attended college at NMIMT in Socorro, NM. Her tenure in Business encompassed thirty years in the capacity of Director of contracts, finance, marketing, project management, property, production, etc.

Ali won five awards in the past several years for her digital photography. She has experience in Photojournalism and is currently penning a novel.

Ali served on the board for the City of Las Cruces, an art organization designed to support Artist in the city. She was also the Chair person for the El Paso Art Association tasked to develop and execute a Photography Show. The show is being continued every year. Ali has been a member of several art organizations. Over the years she has also developed her creative talents through other avenues such as the design and building of her winery and as an author.

Attended School at New Mexico Insittute of Mining and Technology. Received classed monthly through companies I was employeed with for over 30 plus years in the business arena. I received training in the art field since I was young as my Mother was an artist in every medium and owned a gallery and custom frame shop as I do. I also took classes in Photography and Acrylic Abstract painting.

I also served on board for several cities to promote the arts as well as chairing new venues in the galleries.
