My interest in painting as well as the immediacy of film as a means of self-expression and combining it with other forms of art such as animation and installation used to communicate ideas has taken my work to a new level.

I explores themes of Identity, roots and family history, social and personal conflict and fliter it through concepts of traditional folklore and western mythology.

"When I create a new work I usually like to mix it all up whatever interests me at the time I'm making a new piece of work. The medium isn't as such the most important thing for the moment of an idea pops in my head. When I begin a piece of work and my thoughts and sensibilities towards it change and they do on daily bases, I might try it out in many forms before deciding what is the most effective. At time I'm very excited about painting due to the fact I was training as a classical painter and illustrator but other time it's performance and the reenactment of real events that I manipulate with artistic license that take over.
My ideas and narratives come to me as I build up an accumulation of stuff i.e. physical object facts, written stories, people I meet randomly or those I'm known for year and suddenly inspire me once again. They are all ...
