Alejandro López Lara

Based in the Spanish southern city of Jerez, Alejandro is a fine art abstract photographer which approach the medium with an unconventional and innovative perspective. His work is centered on capturing the beauty of simple subjects by experimenting with different techniques, with a strong focus on color and composition.

His most recent work features long exposure single shot photographs where the movement of the camera creates painterly effects of his hometown street life. By controlling the exposition time and movement of the camera he produces different outcomes ranging from subtle photo-pictorialism to abstract expressionism.
