Álvaro Guijarro

Born in Lugo, Galicia (Spain), raised in no less than 6 Spanish cities, now living (again) in Madrid, for 2 years.

My education has been in a school, a bit in the computer science university and much more in the IBM school. As for art, since I was a child I have made figures, drawings and bas-reliefs. But since I received artistic training, I dedicate myself more to figure sculpture and acrylic painting. I have always liked music, drawing, painting and sculpture, but my preference is in figurative sculpture. I am inspired by photographs or images that catch my attention. I sign my pieces as "3ar3Aro", for a youth issue.

I have participated in several work shows at the end of the course as a student, and, later, I have made two exhibitions in a private way, one in Madrid and another in Sigüenza, showing acrylic painting and collectible and sports figures.
My collection of 14 figures of children's games is exhibited in the only Spanish Children's Museum, in the city of Albacete (Castilla-La Mancha).This collection can be viewed at www.alvarogdeo.com. Likewise, I have made figures to order.
