Anne-Marie creates prints and textile sculptures using traditional techniques mixed with new materials, software, and digital imagery, allowing unexpected aesthetics to arise. Her work questions our assumptions about reality by revealing how what we see depends on how we look at it. ///// Anne-Marie is an alumni from the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) of NYU Tisch School of Arts where she researched soft circuitry and materials. She was awarded the Ruth Schirson Levin Fellowship for the 2014-2015 artist in residency program at the Textile Arts Center in Brooklyn. She received the 2016 Artist Legacy Grant by the Women's Studio Workshop. Her creative process is supported by the Canadian and Quebec Councils for the the Arts. She is currently faculty at the Visible Futures Lab of the School of Visual Arts where she teaches and research digital fabrication and she is a Spaceworks Gowanus Grantee.
