Amy Stone

Amy Stone is a second-generation Angeleno whose love of her city is often reflected in her art. After receiving her B.F.A. in Communication Design from Otis Art Institute in the mid-80s, she began working professionally as a photographer and then as a web designer. It wasn’t until the pandemic lockdown that her focus, by necessity, shifted from client-driven to her own daily need to survive creatively.

Today, her artwork represents a blend of her many years as a photographer and a designer, presenting what the mind can see but the eye cannot. Combining layers of photos and drawings in digital format, she produces colorful and often mesmerizing results.
