Anastasiia Krykun

My name is Anastasiia Krykun, and I am a mixed-media artist deeply passionate about exploring the intersection of emotion, movement, and abstraction in my work. Originally from Ukraine, I create bold, layered compositions that balance chaos and order, fluidity and structure.

Using a variety of materials such as acrylics, charcoal, pencils, and texture pastes, I bring depth and energy to my paintings. I love combining expressive brushstrokes with fine graphic details, weaving together abstract forms and geometric elements. My work reflects how I see the world—dynamic, ever-changing, and filled with contrasts.

For me, every painting is a journey, not just for myself but for the viewer. I want my art to evoke emotions, spark thoughts, and encourage introspection. Each piece is an invitation to step into a world where textures, lines, and colors tell a story unique to every individual.

In my studio, I find endless inspiration in the beauty of contrasts, from the tension between simplicity and complexity to the harmony that emerges from opposing forces. My goal is to create art that resonates deeply, offering a personal and emotional experience to those who engage with it.

Art is my way of exploring emotions, movement, and the subconscious, creating a visual dialogue that transcends words. My works embody the interplay between bold textures, dynamic brushstrokes, and expressive color palettes, reflecting the raw energy and fluidity of life.

I draw inspiration from urban landscapes, human nature, and abstract forms, blending layers of acrylic, oils, and mixed media to create immersive compositions. My artistic journey has taken me across borders, with my works exhibited in the Netherlands, Germany, Turkey, Spain, and China. Through these experiences, I continuously evolve my techniques and seek new ways to connect with the audience on a deeper, more emotional level.
