Andreas Motzeck

My work in photography is mainly about exploring visual habits and the discovery of graphic “values” in nature or architecture. Of course, it also always reflects my personal sensitivities and views. Nowadays, I am almost exclusively interested in people's feelings and characteristics. Because I think these states or basic feelings are the only constant in human beings.
Furthermore, nature and the fact that everything is ultimately of natural origin is of great interest to me.
1998 - 2002 Self-taught occupation with photography
2002 - 2003 Intern and assistant at a photographer in Dresden
2000 - 2015 analog photography and darkroom work
since 2007 also digital works on photography
after 2015 only digital

since 2022 i work mostly on my short Film and Sculptures
