Angie Marchinkow

Angie Marchinkow (b. 1985) is a Canadian painter based in the lakeside city of Kelowna, British Columbia. The inspiration for her intuitive and often erratic work is drawn from her internal dialogue of life events that dictate her interpretation of the present moment.

With an always impulsive train of thought, and the full spectrum of deep emotion, she pulls from a well of sorrow, joy, and wonder about the human spirit. Hand in hand with her poetic writing, her words have become a means of unfolding layers of what she paints on the canvas.

She collaborates with musicians, artists, and photographers as a multidisciplinary visual artist. As an abstract painter and muralist, photographer, and voiceover actor, her range of work can be found in private and commercial collections.
