Annick Mckenzie

I was born in Deols, France . After a few years in Canada and the USA I came to England in 1977. I am married and I have two sons. I moved back to France in 2011.Painting had always been my dream and I started to paint in 1994.Colour is my passionColour plays a key role in my approach to painting. My work is about the wonder and energy of life and my aim is to communicate its essence. nature is an inexaustible source of inspiration. I use a variety of media but acrylic is my favorite medium.I produce paintings that hold and express the magic feeling of the moment.I have the great desire to inspire others.I also have a collection of limited edition prints .Painting gives me a way to touch people's lives. It is why I paint!
