Annie Burns

Annie Burns lives and works in Melbourne, Australia. She attended the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA). She has participated in a number of group show in Australia and Japan (twice at Kyoto City Museum and three times at the International Art Centre of Kyoto). She has been a finalist in the Portia Geach Prize (twice), the John Leslie Art Prize, the Rick Amor Drawing Prize, the Alice Prize (twice) and others. She has had five solo shows and has won several awards. She has work in public and private collections including the City of Richmond Collection (VIC), Diamond Valley Art Award Collection (VIC), Ministry of Housing (VIC), Araluen Centre (NT), Federation University Art Collection (VIC) and others.
