Anthony Hall

My artistic focus and practice is centered around producing objects from a life lived in San Francisco and incorporating the range of influential artifacts and experiences into an expanding spectrum for modes of expression - paintings, sculpture, sound works. This most often encompasses placing emphasis on simply expressing an abstract thought and bringing conversations to visual fruition. I’ve found that the more personal and specific my work has become, the greater the possibility to make connections and initiate engagements with the artwork as the starting point to larger dialog. My goal is for my artwork to occupy spaces within certain mechanisms of tension and produce from ideas of potentiality.
