Suzana Ravarsan

I am an artist from the island of Krk. I work mainly with watercolors and acrylics, often combining drawing and painting techniques. The beauty of the different mixtures of colors in animals, flowers, and nature inspires my work.
I get most of my ideas from looking at nature and all the colors and shapes. I love how geometric shapes contrast with the soft lines of animals and plants. The symmetry of music and the patterns it creates compared to the colors and feathers of birds. My main focus is on the combination of painting, music, and writing and how the different types of art can be brought into harmony and become one.
Gentle and subtle brush strokes when painting birds give me a sense of freedom and peace. This is one of the main reasons birds are one of the most represented subjects in my work.
