Scottish contemporary artist, living and working on a small island off the West coast of Scotland.

I’ve worked in my small Studio in Whiting Bay for over 20 years and love the Scottish landscape, community and culture.

I love to paint on silk, using dyes with which I can create vibrant, colourful, abstract landscapes.

Painting with oils, and using textures of wax, sand and gels to give depth and interesting contrasts to my work has over the years become my passion. I am able to keep the intensity of the silk colours but added layers produce an exciting variation to the
