Artist Statement “I don't paint. I sculpt with color”. My work begins where traditional painting ends. Rather than brushing pigment onto canvas, I transform paint into a physical matieral that I cut, sculpt, layer, and weave into intricate, tactile compositions. The result is a fusion of painting, sculpture, and textile. Born in the UK and now based in Melbourne, Australia, my art is shaped by movement, both literal and metaphorical. Having lived across multiple countries, I see relationships, communities, and experiences as shifting layers that are forever reassembling. I regularly explore social connections as well as themes of control and freedom. My art journey began with sculptural mosaic art but during my BFA (Curtin University, Perth, 2019), I transitioned to paint, drawn to its fluidity and endless possibilities. Since then I have been a Finalist in a number of prestigious Art Prizes and my work is in private and public collections worldwide.
