Steve Rawlings is a mixed media artist who has been working in the creative industries for over 20 years. Exhibiting in numerous galleries and with works in many private collections globally, Steve has also worked with many high profile clients such as Red Bull F1, Aston Martin, EMI , Honda, The Royal Opera House and English Nation Operas . Blending and embracing traditional and digital processes, Steve's work fuses together icons and elements of popular culture. A deep love of music in all of it's many genre's is a constant theme within his work, as is the exploration of the language of everyday pop-culture and film. Layer upon layer of printed material and ephemera strive to create new juxtapositions and narratives with the work and merging these with ever evolving techniques of collage, spray paints, and acrylics Steve produces graphic, vibrant and densely layered expressions of the pop language which surrounds us all.
