Iso (b. 2002) was born in the United Kingdom and is of mixed Chinese and British descent. She graduated with a degree in Visual Communication from the Academy of Fine Arts at Tsinghua University. Her artistic style spans multiple media, including photography, moving images, illustration, and bookmaking. Iso's work is centered around the themes of "love" and "dreams," characterized by pencil drawings and monochromatic tones, conveying a profound sense of dark romanticism. Her creations often feature insects and monsters, creating a mysterious and thought-provoking atmosphere. As a prose artist, Iso combines poetry with visual art, using herself as the central figure in her works to express unspoken pain and emotions through the medium of art. Each of her pieces reflects on gender relationships, emotional struggles, and inner turmoil.
