This boat was for years the means of support for a family, until they did not need it any more. It was retired from the sea and abandoned in the marsh, where it can't even float.

He was born in 1964 in Spain. From a very young age, he used to draw every moment he had free. Despite this and the encouragement of some teachers at school, at home they saw it as a hobby rather than a profession, so family circumstances did not allowed him to study Fine Arts. His training is completely self-taught. He started working very young as an advertising draftsman and graphic designer in different agencies and on his own, and 10 years later he entered the publishing world as an illustrator, where he spent another 20 years. Meanwhile,he devoted all his free time to learning from the great masters of painting, especially studying Velázquez, Carvaggio, Vermeer, Turner, Alma-Tadema, Sorolla or Rembrandt. Combining work and passion, he made several small exhibitions of oil and charcoal painting in various places in his city with public and sales success. Now he is completely dedicated to his paintings and illustration projects.
