Alyssa Yeager is an Art Director and Designer based in New York City. Since earning her BFA in Graphic Design from Temple University's Tyler School of Art in 2001, her career has gone on to span editorial design, brand marketing, and data/information design. Removed from the immediate constraints of design consulting and client service, her fine artwork focuses on improvisational painting and drawing, and emotional manifestation; exploring applications and juxtapositions of the deliberate and the impulsive, the expected and the unexpected, and masculine and feminine energies. At home in Brooklyn and Queens for more than 12 years, Alyssa's work is heavily influenced by urban textures and street art, as well as the Abstract Expressionist movement, Washington Color School, and New York School painters including Helen Frankenthaler, Adolph Gottleib, and Cy Twombly; and contemporary artists Carolee Schneemann, Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Takashi Murakami.
