Sareh Mokhtari is an Iranian artist based in Berlin, Germany. She began her artistic journey in 2006 when she started studying Carpet Design, and has been professionally painting since 2013. With a Bachelor's degree in Carpet Design and a Master's degree in Painting, her work focuses on portraits, emotional expression, and social issues—particularly the restrictions placed on women in society. Sareh is proficient in oil, pastel, and charcoal, blending technical skill with conceptual depth. Her goal is not merely to create beauty, but to spark thought and evoke feeling—whatever the emotion may be. Each of her pieces speaks to a larger theme relevant to the human condition. Her work has been exhibited in group shows in Tehran, Paris, London, and most recently in Marbella, at one of the city's most iconic villas known for its swimming pool signed by Picasso himself.
