She plays with the simplicity and restrictiveness of working in black and white, as it requires her to bring something more out of an image that wouldn't usually be captured had colour been involved. Each piece can take up to 70 hours of solid drawing time. Her current works are highly influenced by the art-deco era and combine intricate pattern-work, bold graphic shapes and gold leaf detailing.
