My name is Anastasia, I was born in Moscow, Russia in 1991. I'va graduated from the Moscow State University (Lomonosov MSU), the faculty of Law, and I've worked for several years in different commercial organizations as a lawyer. But my yearning to art was very strong. I've started to study drawing, painting and composition at art school since 2014. Since 2018 I am studying with the well-known artist Michael Babenkov. In my works I use different techniques, but my absolute favourites are: watercolor, ink and reedpen, pastels and oil. I adore watercolor I for its lightness, the ability to express momentary impressions, fluidity, amazing accidents. In this sense, watercolor is like life - many amazing things often happen in it by chance, are given as revelation to us, but it's only up to us - to see the chances and decide, whether to use them or not. I also love oil painting for the wealth of possibilities, for the ability to dive deeply into the color and express the finest nuances of color. Every picture, every drawing or illustration is a new world for me, so I try to fing individual approcah to every work. That's why I always develop my style and try to find new shapes and forms (collage, embroidery, mixed media etc.). I'm also a childrenbook illustrator and the artist of the artist's book.
